Pathologic Noise in Interview for the Zine Exterminator
Great talking Muratchas, nice to be interviewing you brother. You're telling me earlier that you've started working on Pathologic's new album. How is the process of it?
Muratchas: My old man is pleased to be part of this great work. Good face, we already have 10 new sounds that will compose this new work, we are already with a lot of the recordings ready and also a good part of the cover, everything in the process of finalization which we have in mind launch for the first half of 2018, all processes are being created and produced by the band itself.
Recently you have made available for download a copy called "The Lost Demos and Compilations 1995-2016" are you forecast to release physically? What do you have to comment on it?
Muratchas: this was an idea that I got when I took some things out of the closet, despite being a material without much production was totally made for free publicity, materials of when I heard the band before being part of it, despite the immaturity of the band at that time portrays great moments of Metal of the decade of 90, and also showing the evolution of the band until the present day. we do not have a pretension of physical release even because we are dedicating 100% to the new album. but if any distro or seal has interest, we are in the war!
Many of my friends have commented on me in a small quality drop in the sound of Pathologic on the album "Gore Aberration" (2015), what do you have to comment on?
Muratchas: Well, I was absent for a period after the release of Sodomy, and by the time things came back, things had changed so much in the line-up as in the influences of the musicians who were part of that year, I think it's not the time of the debut but put the band in the active one again after years of instability in the formation, the Gore aberration provided us with a grand tour, in which it was a watershed so that we return to our principles and originality, the new work will say by itself how much we are doing the old fashion. more united and strong rescuing the essence of the musical band.
What can we expect from this new album? When will we have a preview of it?
Muratchas: we were very careful in the compositions and themes approached because we want to maintain the initial originality of the band since the times of Necropleasure, Sadistic Splatter Death Metal with varied riffs, cadenciados and letters addressing the most perverse and perverse pleasure by the flesh as well as the accompanying melodies . showing also how much we are a family today and we are in full ideological and musical harmony.
How are the shows? Will there be a Tour for the new album?
Muratchas: For now we are dedicating to the maximum of this new trick and decided to spend an introspective time to follow up the ideas that are flowing every step we take, we still do not think about a tour but we have projects and enough things sent in this direction after the launch.
What are the Death Metal records that have made the most of you? Which are the best of the day?
Muratchas: Well these are totally from my individuality, Carcass Necroticism, Been caught buttering from Pungent Stench, Necrology from General Surgery, Slowly Obituary rot, Effigy of Forgotten from Suffocation, Altars of Morbid Angel madness, Sárcofago Inri, Phantasmagory from The mist among others, of the present, I think immolation came giving a death class without fad, Suffocation always suffocation, sinister and sixfeet under also has released interesting matters, Venon inc. among several bands that in that year of 2017 surprised like I am in the auditions of the Red before black of cannibal
What are your influences as a musician?
Muratchas: My influences are: since jazz 1938 type benny goodman, and rock n roll, Rainbow, deep purple because I was always a fan of Ian paice, I absorbed a lot of things from Slayer when I started playing, but I listen to everything and always try to absorb the maximum of everything even of bands of Hard, trash, and black which I am very short, I think that gives me dicernimento between what I do and what the bands have been doing, to defer without losing the conceptual rhythms that describe the Style of Brutal Metal. I do not like to follow this trend of blast extreme of the present time, I like to mix drums with rufos and more harmonious repiques next to the riffs, type to not be literalmenete full of nothing!
What do you have to comment on the "Headbangers" who support conservative, Christian politicians and cope with their thoughts?
Muratchas: Ideological Poverty! True Underground and its principles have always been against politics and all forms of rules or doctrines imposed by something or someone who is superior, nowadays people think we are radical, or as they say "rule dictators" "because we do not support this idiom that Metal can mix with this social modesty hypocrisy that exists in the current scene, I think we identify with a lifestyle that does not fit with these postures and so we are headbangers, not this band of poser's and profiteers present in the current scene that only want moments of fame, because if they were true Metals would not have abandoned the underground or would not have vices!, evolve yes but no longer be underground !!!
Will the new album be released by any label or will it be released independently?
Muratchas: we will present to our current label Cogumelo Records which we have a lot of respect but no other release link, we have other candidate labels and we will count on what else you are in favor of even compacting the fervor of the band. No more will come out of the blood even as has been all production so far.
